Buffalo's newest waterfront restaurant to open

The long-awaited, full-service restaurant, set inside downtown Buffalo’s Canalside footprint, is prepared to serve its first meal.

The Liberty Hound will have a soft opening, with an introductory menu, beginning this weekend. The restaurant, located inside the Buffalo & Erie County Naval and Military Park, will offer its full menu starting on May 29.

“We’re are trying to ease ourselves and our staff into the operation,” said Jason Davidson, who along with Mike Shatzel, is running the restaurant.
